15-16 Year Old Little League Senior State Tournament in Roxboro

    The 15-16 Year Old State Little League Senior Division Tournament is being held in Roxboro this weekend. Excellent play as all games have been close.

    Day 1: (Saturday)
    Forest City Defeated Clayton
    Roxboro Defeated Kernersville (2007 Champs) (8 innings)
    Canton Defeated Forest City (13 innings)

    Day 2: (Sunday)
    Clayton defeated Kernersville (Kernersville eliminated)
    Roxboro defeated Canton (Roxboro advances to finals)
    Forest City defeated Clayton (Clayton eliminated)

    Day 3: (Monday)
    Canton will play Forest City in an elimination game at 6:00

    Day 4: (Tuesday)
    Roxboro will play Canton-Forest City winner at 6:00
    If an additional game is needed it will follow the 6:00 game.

    Roxboro advances to Fla

    Monday night:

    Canton defeated Forest City 9-8 to advance to the champioship against Roxboro. They must beat Roxboro twice to win the State Tournament.

    Tuesday:

    Roxboro defeated Canton today 4-3 to advance to the South Regional at Vierra/Suntree Fla August 1-6. The boys in Roxboro are excited for this opportunity to represent NC in this Regional Tournament.

    Don't go through Roxboro on Aug. 1st, because doesn't that start official football practice? There may be some fighting going on if any football players are still playing baseball, and you don't want to get caught up in that! Good luck in Fla. to the Roxboro boys! Is Cody and Stephen playing? They mentioned it in Ga. If they are, what a big help they'll be!

    Cody and Stephen are playing... Stephen actually pitched the championship game against Canton. Cody had a key hit. Both will go to FLA with the team...

    ROXBORO WINS FIRST ROUND GAME!!! IN FLORIDA!

    :woot::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:The Roxboro Little League 15-16 year old team won there first round game today 10-0....yes thats right 10-0 over Alabama!!!!!!!!!!!!:clapclap::clapclap:
    They will face South carolina tomorrow in round two at 9:30am.
    If I can get some details I will post!!
