Early Committments: A TERRIBLE idea!

because in some of the majors its almost impossible to play and do the course work. nursing for example, my dd could not keep up with her work the she wanted to, so softball she could not play and yes it was a painful decision. although some others are playing and doing nursing, but they are on the borderline of the grades as a father i will accept for my dd. athletics is a very positive influence on some, and yes me included, i also would have never graduated had it not been for athletics and people who cared. my only thought was getting to the big time, now i see the error of my ways. so i do agree with you, but my point is just be careful on whats more important academics or ball. my youngest would say ball......

 

Early commitments are great!

Just do your homework, I just had a player committ thgis weekend and one at the Early Bird. These kids are so relieved to know what their future holds. You can see it in their face and in the faces of their parents. I highly recommend it as long as the homework is done!!
