NC NSA State 14 and Under Tourney

    It looks like the Wayne County Hurricanes come way, way back after losing their first bracket game. This team has won six straight games (three Saturday and three more today) to make it to the championship game. Very impressive to make it that far after that first game Sat morning.

    Coming into the State Tourney, the Hurricanes had an NSA record of 7-5 for a .583 winning % while the Alexander Cougars had a 27-6 NSA record for an .818 winning %......

    It looks like the Piedmont Storm will be the team to beat. Will the Hurricanes take them to the limit and keep riding the momentum or will the Storm prevail....Time will tell...........

    Just got a text from one of the Storm players/ my school player.... Storm wins the 14u! Congrats Steve and ladies!

    Congrats to the Storm on winning the 14U NSA state title. Hard fought weekend with some great games. As a first year 14U team the Storm has a bright future this year and next. Good luck in Ohio girls and represent well.
