I am still at Mission. I am still coaching just not fast pitch. I thought I would take a break from coaching but the women at church started a team two years ago and asked me to coach. Love it...Playing for the love of the game again....Hope to see you soon Paul it has been awhile.

    USC Upstate Softball Camp

The camp is now full. Thanks to the 150 that have registered. If we have talked to you already you are counted in the total. This should be a good one!

Our next camps will be team camps in early winter and our annual winter clinic in Janurary. Thanks to everyone and TBR for your support! :woohoo:

    EnkaJet4 really miss you man!

Hey Hawk long time no see for sure. I saw where you tied for the regular season title first year out of the gate. Impressive. Hope things are good with you and those kids have got to be getting big. Surprised you have time to get on here and post...lol....One of these days I will come back off the mountain to see what is happening down your way. I am sure its hot and windy if nothing else. Take care and talk to you soon.

    Can't miss this

There is one held at Lynchburg College. This is one great camp! The girls really work hard, this is no "baby sitting" camp. Great one on one workouts, intense games, and hold one showcase day out of the week. Some of the coaches that attend / run this camp are; James Defeo (LSU), Craig Nicolson (Ball State formerly of Central AZ.) Coach Simmons of Lynchburg College (ranked #3 D111 in the nation). Absolutely positive with a strong emphasis on fundamentals. The show case day is a big plus. My DD has attended the past 3 yrs. and plans to attend again. She has been contacted by three of the schools in attendance. The big thing is that she comes back positive and hungry! Check it out.

    Class Guy....

....Coach Hawkins. I met this fellow as he checked into a hotel that we just happened to be staying there as well. He has no idea who i am and it wouldn't matter anyway. Hey, TBR, I'm standing at the check in counter and next to me is a guy, a normal dude, obviously an athletic guy, and me, being the mouth of the south that I am, hell, I just asked him if he was in town for the tourn.? and what team he was affiliated with. All the while he's trying to register into the hotel, but this guy took the time to tell me a little bit about USC Upstate, and by a little bit, I mean a little bit. He informed me of the basics, i.e. conference, first year, and that was about it. What I took from this short conversation was this.....I was impressed by Coach Hawkins. Fish
