South Granville wins again but coach still explodes

Your right...last year his team was up 9-0 and I could of swore it was either Bobby Knight or John McEnroe coaching 3rd. I could only call pitches with one eye for fear of something being hurled my way from the dugout. His team went on to win 15-0 and as he goes thru the line he says "you bush wacked me today you senile duck"

Newlyweds in Wild Fight at Hotel

Somewhere, N.C. -- Police said Braves and his honey brawled with one another, just hours after they repeated their vows and were headed to a room at the Holiday Inn in the Boonies.

The fight between blogger Braves, 72, of Watauga, and his bride, Miss Honey, 25, began as the couple were about to enter their room at the hotel on F. Suggs Road on Saturday night, according to police.

The blogger "used a karate-style kick with his leg to kick the pretty lady, knocking her to the floor," the criminal complaint said.

Two coaches in town for the Impact tournament heard the bride's screams and rushed over to help her. But when they restrained Braves with handcuffs, his bride got excited and began attacking her rescuers, police said.

The fight traveled from a hallway to an elevator then into the hotel lobby where, police said, the couple threw metal planters containing live plants into an elevator at the men who tried to break up the fight.

"It was pretty wild," said Coach May and Coach Partin.

Police arrived to find the blogger lying on the floor of the lobby and his bride "spitting on him" and "apparently highly intoxicated," according to the complaint.

Both bride and groom were charged with simple assault, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. The bride was also charged with public intoxication. She asked a district judge not to require her husband to stay away from his computer while the charges were pending because he would end up losing his TBR salary and he would then have to go back to panhandling. She was deathly afraid they would end up living back at the trailer.

Both refused comment when they left the County Jail on Sunday after spending the night in separate holding cells but Braves did say he thought his cell mate was kind of cute.

The bride, still wearing her wedding gown, was picked up by her new boyfriend Stretchy. The blogger left on his own, one eye swollen shut, wearing tuxedo pants, a bloody T-shirt and one shoe.

The couple had been married in the Bahamas last month, but repeated their vows Saturday before a reception for 150 baseball guests hosted by Aguyyouknow.
