Ok today we had to call the Braves in. Let's just take a second to review.
State your opinion without attacking any kid. This is wrong. Remember we are friends. If a new or outside poster comes in the circle and starts to stray. PM and remind them nicely. Let's still post our facts and opinions as they have helped many. Or Braves will call out one of OAC buddies from the past. Got you OAC.

Let's revisit an old topic......for old time's sake. (this is for you, Braves!)
You all remember a fairly fun thread several months ago regarding the Maybin/Miller trade for Willis/Cabrera. I, along with a few others, did not like the trade at all. However, at the time, Braves and many others felt like it was good for both teams.

It's still early in the season, but WHAT IS THE HECK IS GOING ON IN DETROIT????? Anybody want to offer any thoughts? 0-7 is hard to do...still think Willis and Cabrera will pay off this season?

Hate to say it, but it kinda warmed my heart and reminded me of some of the old legion threads when rivals clash with each other,,, in that when someone starts a fire over there, you will always see brothers rally to support brothers,,, unfortunately oftentimes it can get (should I say) "deletable" over there too... But its still good to see the loyalty...

 

names should never be posted or mentioned, unless it is to highlight an achievement.

Guru started a thread about an incident he witnessed. He offered his opinion of that situation and most disagreed with that. At some point, someone deduced what team Guru was referring and were able to determine what player...and that's when it became personal.

The thread did not start out that way and to be honest, as long as it stayed generic, it was entertaining to read the responses. Once certain people deduced the player discussed, the thread took on a new message and that's why it was deleted.

Despite the emotions elevated by this thread, we need to handle these things through PM's and not attack or mention members by their real names. Most people choose screen names to keep their anonymity. We are not allowed to "out" people.

Listen, despite what some people may think, this board is not moderated 24 hours a day. A thread that starts out fine and takes a twist (not that it has ever happened before) won't get corrected unless a moderator is contacted or one happens to be online.
