Any Perfect Games (JV or varsity) yet?

    Jason McEachern was 1 pitch away last monday at Maiden. He hit a batter with a full count and 2 out in the 7th. We did get the NO-NO....but OH so close!!!

    He struck out 17 in that game as well.

    Out East....

    Freshman Austin Chaing had 9Ks, no hits and 1BB against New Hanover in a JH Rose JV game... a no hitter...close, but no cigar for the perfect game.

    Sophomore Bryan Quintard gave up one dink in the last inning and 1BB against West Craven for the JH Rose JV team. Again, so close.

    Junior Tanner Merritt gave up only one hit (in the 7th) against West Carteret (oh so close).

    None here yet, but getting very close. I would not be surprised if we had a few more no hitters before seasons end.

    Cody Laws - East Rowan pitcher had a no-no tonight against West Stanly.

    Cody Laws not only had a no hitter, but a perfect game against undefeated West Stanly for East Rowan.


    Chris Beaver from Mooresville also tossed a no-no vs West Iredell

    Kevin Brandt threw a no-no for Fuquay last Thursday. The first in 24 years for a very good baseball school i. e. Harris Honeycutt, Adam McLaurin, ets.
