I just wanted to share with you guys my favorite radio channel on XM.It is Channel 175 MLB Homeplate. This is not one of the game channels (although they have many of those as well). This programing is all baseball all the time, they breakdown all MLB teams and their minor league affiliates, trade talk, interviews with former and current players, managers,GMs,hot stove talk etc.You name it they discuss it if it has anything to do with baseball.I usually find that when I read something in the morning paper about baseball that I heard about it yesterday listening to these guys. Its worth the 9.95 per month just for this one channel for anyone that spends a lot of time in their vehicle each day.Its not for everyone, just baseball fanatics like most of us.Anyway just thought I would pass it along to the TBR Baseball Family.

I agree 100%... I have XM for several years now and mine is locked on MLB (ch 175) or 150 XL Comedy

My favorite on MLB is Kevin Kennedy (Ex Coach and current ESPN analyst)and Rod Dibble (ex nasty boy pitcher from the Reds and on Fox's Best Dam* Sports Show). They tell it like it is and hold nothing back. They bring A LOT to the show from their experiences in minors, majors, as well as college and talk about everything and EVERYBODY.... They have great stories and guests. Time slot is from 3 - 6 pm and is a great show to listen to. Nothing is off limits and they cut no one slack.

If you enjoy baseball and behind the scenes stuff and getting the straight sccop, I highly recommend!

    Guys,

Do you know if XM carries any minor league games?

Not normally. They do have all the big league games. Ocassionally, they will carry a minor league game, if it has a twist to it (i.e. Clemmons last year in the Minors).

you can also listen to Cal and Billy Ripkin on Saturday mornings. They usually cover some youth baseball issues as well as what's current news in the "bigs".
Also, during the live broadcasts of all the different shoes, you can call in and ask the guys questions. Dibble and Kennedy are the best!
