    Rained out. No word yet on a make-up date.

    I don't get it. Aren't we in the middle of a 100-year drought? How could we get rained out of our first game of the season?

    Sanderson vs Athens Drive

    Athens 5 Sanderson 3

    Athens Drive leadoff hitter Matt Paske went 4-4 with a walk off 2 run home run in the bottom of the seventh to give Athens the victory.
    Matt Paske had 4 of the 6 hits that Athens had. 2 singles, double and a 375 ft to end the game.
    Sanderson had a couple of costly errors to allow 2 runs to score for Athens.
    Game stats tomorrow morning.

    Watch these two kids . . .

    Mauer for Enloe and Paske for Athens Drive. Two kids have great instincts at the plate and can punish the ball. D-1 potential in both these kids.
