Ashton Ward started two games for Tennessee this weekend beating Utah State 8-1 and pitching a one hit shut out of University of Oregon today! She was one pitch away from a no-hitter as with two outs in the seventh inning the batter with two strikes hit a ball up the middle off Ashton glove for a hit! Tennessee won 5-0! Awesome job for her first game against a Pac 10 team!

Let's post on the board the 2007 grads making a difference.:hurray::wave:

    Way to go

... Ashton !!! Show them West Coast teams that the East Coast talent has arrived !!!!!!!!!! After playing nationals last summer, I can tell you that there is some equal talent on this side of the Mississippi. You can see more & more of this on the college rosters.

    Morgan

Morgan Childers started her career with a Bang at USC-Upstate, striking out 18 in her first game and pitching USC to a big win! Then she came back out in relief in second game of double header and won that game as well!
U go girl, continue that dominance in college. Another 2007 making a difference in college.:N1amenHL2:

Courtney Feldon, her teammate is also a big part of USC's game. She has shown she is a great defensive player as well as a hitter which we all knew she did as well as any HS player in a long time. CF will be a great college player as well.

    Katie

Katie Boyd had a big day for AppState even through App. loss both games. She hit a home run her first at bat and contributed well behind plate as well.
Sarah Rappe had 6 assists and one error at third base as these two 2007 kids stepped in immediately to lead App. State.

    Keeli

Keeli Michael is in the starting line-up at Campbell University and is showing she can play the college game as well. With her speed, work ethic, and guts, she will be a real addition!

    Update

Ashton Ward is quieting critics and rumors of her leaving Tenn as she is now 9-1 and has quickly become the #1 pitcher. Tenn is ranked #5 in the country and has beaten some Pac 10 schools along the way.
There are many more 2007 kids contributing, parents and coaches, please post on board.:REDanceBanana008:
