2009 NPC Predictions

2008 NPC (not 2009)

OK, Let's get it started early. Here's my picks for Varsity. Last year conference was down. This year should be a great and very competitve year in positions 1-5.

(2) Mooresville
(3) South Rowan
(4) NW Cabarrus
(5) Lake Norman
(6) West Rowan
(7) West Iredell
(8) N. Iredell
(9) Statesville

Players to Watch from Mooresville.

Varsity - Aubrey Meadows, sr, lefty (UNCC), Chris Beaver Sr, RH (Undecided. probably football, then baseball), Nathan Abraham jr, 2B (my opinion last years MVP although not voted that way), Dillon West jr,SS, Jon Crucitti soph (C, OF Very versatile utility player with great attitute and hustle), Aaron Meadows, jr, C, P (As good as they get), Ian Walters, JR, LH Pitcher should get some time this year!!! Brett Compton, Jr, RH P throws gas. Should get some great relief time this year.

Mooresville has all the talent in the world, including the JV team which should be extremely loaded this year. Most of the soph guys on JV could start on Varsity but little room on a strong returning class.

Another

Forgot to add Chris Bonaventure. Should be back strong this year after injuring should this fall. He should get time both on Varsity and JV. Great pitcher who likes to challenge batters.
