    Congratulations to Brice Hursey(Wakefield H/S). Today he commited Chowan University. Welcome to the livewell! All the time and hard work you put in over this past summer and fall have really paid off for ya. "That's Nice"

    Way to go Brice

    I coached Brice from the time he was 7 years old up untill his Soph year in HS. Brice was a SG Viking his freshman year and then transfered to Wakefield for his HS career. I have never coached a more hard working kid and a better young man. I am a former Brave myself I played football there for Coach Garrison many moons ago. Congrats Brice I wish you all the luck in the world and I am very proud of you. Congrats to your dad Van as well. He spent many a day throwing bp to you. And it paid off. Good Luck.

    CONGRATULATIONS!

    Congrats to Brice, Van, Pam and the whole Hursey family. It was my pleasure to coach Brice several years ago and get to know his family and follow his career. Without a doubt, one of the finest young men I've ever met and a family of the highest integrity. Now go and have a wonderful senior year at Wakefield.....except when you play the Knights of course! :coool:
