With the Forbes list out. You must make a 1.3 Billion to make the list. Must be nice!!!!


The very top of the list was unchanged: Microsoft Corp. founder Bill Gates led the list for the 14th straight year, this time with a net worth estimated at $59 billion.
$$$97 million for a house

 

What the sad part is that 97 million is not that much for him...

 

Well...at least it gives me something to shoot for. Heck, 1.3 billion ain't what it used to be

 

This seems like an appropriate time to ask.........what do TBR members think it takes to be qualified as wealthy?

 

According to Forbes about 1.3 billion dollars in todays dollars. Millionaires are a dime a dozen. As for me family, friends, a cool summers evening and a close ball game. Oh...and a red hot all the way and a tall cold one.

 

Wealthy is relative....

When you can pay your own bills without needing help, when you and your family have good health, and when you are at peace with yourself spiritually.

And, for the sake of argument, when you feel like you can lose your job without a care in the world, can fly first-class without using frequent flyer miles, and you can afford the beer at a professional baseball game, you may be wealthy!

IF you look closely thru the window you can see Braves at the table being served a Beefmastor steak by Dbacks while he is reading the latest issue of "Baseball for Experts".......how can a man be so lucky?

 

eating with friends.....don't forget the friends. That's what makes my life wealthy.
