Crest has some things to work on with their offense. They had the ball many times inside the Burns 35 and came away with nothing. 125 yrds in penalities and 5 TO's will get you beat, Crest was lucky that it didn't. The future is very bright for the Chargers they had some big plays made by the freshmen on varsity this year. Crest is playing a lot of freshmen and sophs this season. Nelson Bullard played awesome for Crest on defense. He was getting into the Burns backfield over and over. Very impressed with the heart that Burns showed. These kids didn't give up when they could have folded in the first half as the Crest D was having their way with them. I was talking with one of the folks at the game and he coached this group of Burns SR's in elementary school. He said that even then they gave everything they had. Wasn't but around 15 of them on the team, but they beat a squad that had around 45 players to win the championship.

It was a wild night in Lawndale.

no home feild advantage if nothing else playing on grass is with all that speed acr has.and watauga will be one of the best teams with freedom you will play in con that kind of thinking is what got you beat in the playoffs hope the team feels like you do.acr could lose two games in con this year but they also may not lose but clearly not acr best teams as of yet anyway.

Well the struggles continued for the Titans friday night. Coach Haynie finally broke down and decided to put Terrance on defense which made things a bit better, at least Mitchell didn't score while Buggy was out there. But as you know one guy can't make a team. Our starting QB got benched at halftime, I and a lot of people had high hopes on Patrick running the offense this year but it looks like that may be all gone, indications are Matt Amerto will start next week at QB. Matt is more agile than Patrick in the gun, but by having to put Amerto under center takes away his best attribute of being a reliable threat at receiver.

Alexanders Offense started clicking in the Name of Josh Russell, he is obviously the leader of that offense. He obviously has the recievers in Byron Mayes & Ralph Adams. Their Running game was effective however one of their feature backs went down in the 2nd quarter. I haven't heard any word on how long bradshaw will be out. The Thing the cougars need to be concerned about is their defense. Giving up close to or over 400 yards to Saint was not impressive at all. I'm hoping it was because honycutt was out.

any word on bradshaw an Kinnard?

Meangreen- I didnt say you needed to worry about Watauga or anyone else. I said you need to find a way to get Spencer the ball in open space where he is most effective.

Spencer got that first run to the outside and look what happens, if he has hands why not try some screens to him? Something like that rather than run him up the middle, anyhow from what i have seen so far ACR looked good, but not head and shoulders above everyone like they looked last season. Niether ACR or Watauga need to be looking ahead to that game yet, if either team looks ahead thier likely to blow a game or 2.The NW4A this year seems much more level than before. And no home field advantage? you just keep telling yourself that...

home field advantage is one of the biggest myths of high school football. Radical differences in temperature or driving half way across the state might make a small difference, but the crowd has no effect
