She is now the AD after serving as assistant AD last year. She is also the first female AD in Cleveland County.

Of course, she will make a great AD.

The school, however, has a chance to make a good decision here about it's next coach. Let's see if they flub it up like most. I wonder what the chances are of the right thing being done????

I too agree that Mrs. Grayson will make and excellent AD, possibly the most organized person, besides my wife, that i have ever met. Kings Mountain will definately benefit with her at the helm. Getting back to choosing a new coach, lets not forget Grayson and Coach Sweezy did special things the last three or four years, and if im not mistaken, Coach Sweezy has not retired and is on staff at Kings Mountain. It would be a damn shame if he was not offered the head coaching job. Sweezy is a good man, he is what I can say is fair to his players, respects his players, and he wants to win as bad as anyone. He should be offered the head coaching job before anybody else is even considered, and if he is up to it, damn straight do the right thing. Im sure Sweezy knows he will need help and I have no doubt he can get the help he would need to do the job. I could be way off, the school may have already offered the job and he could have turned it down, i dont know. Im just stating my opinion. But i would hope if Coach Sweezy wants it, he damn well sure has earned the right to be first choice.

I have heard rumors that Craig Short may be making the move to KM. If Coach Sweezy doesn't want it, would he be a good fit. He did a great job with East Gaston this year.

Yes, Mr Short would be a great fit for K.M. He also has a duaghter that will fit in real well with a good group of girls that is her age. Lets do it Coach Sweezy.

Don Sweezy should get the job without any dispute whatsoever.

Again, we shall see if a school system does something out of line. I figure they will not do the right thing.

Ms. Grayson, I'm asking you to step in and do the right thing. Part of this could have been handled if they wouldn't have worried about football.

Kings Mtn. is in Cleveland County though. Oh, and by the way, I would have gone differently in football, although I do like Greg LLoyd.

i honestly cant see coach short leaving east gaston with the team that he will have next year. there is little doubt that they will dominate our conference with pitching, speed, offense and defense there for their senior year. but ya never know . . . . . . .

Sounds like somebody has some hard feelings about Coach Lloyd getting the football job. Why shouldn't they have been worried about football as well?
