    Stihl Sowers put on a great pitching demonstration last night to hold ER in check. He aided his cause with a 2 run homer in the bottom of the 1st. ER threatened in the 6th with runners on 1st & 3rd, and 1 out, but Sowers was able to get out of the jam. Ryan Leach pitched very well also. Aside from the homer, NL wasn't able to really get cranking.
