Best Baseball Atmospheres in the NW4A

Ive put this thread on all sports. I want your opinions. What is the best atmosphere/stadium for baseball in the NW4A.

My Rankings
1. Watauga- Nice ballpark, lots of good seating, great food on the grill. Crowds are great when the weather is good.

2. Alexander Central- Nice setup. Good seating, good food. Rowdy fans.

3. South Caldwell- Nice field, need more seats. Good atmosphere and they get the award for hottest "landscape" in the league.

4. ACR- Nice, quant. Nothing great, nothing bad.

5. Freedom- Pretty stadium, ample parking. Good food.

6. East Burke

7. McDowell

 

Freedom High School has the BEST announcer guy in NC. What a great voice and very professional commentary. Could use a better music selection, but this guy's not just good, He's GREAT!

Watauga has the best speakers. Sounds like a football stadium. And good baseball music for the most part.

ACR has the best southern rock tunes in the south east.

Good baseball music is essential.

 

1. Whs... has the best setup, one of the nicest if not the nicest field. Great speakers, great food, great fan support... just near perfect for a baseball atmosphere.

2. South Caldwell - Great team followed by great fan support... good food... got people putting up K's everytime there is a strikeout... not the best but certainly not the worst sound system.... moderate field.

3. Freedom - Great parking, great seating... good announcer... good food... not a bad place at all to watch a ball game.

4. AC Reynolds - Very nice field, good seating, great support... great team.

5. Alexander Central - Moderate food, moderate sound system.... moderate parking... really great and tough fans... hard to go play at.

6. East Burke - Ok parking and thats about it...

7. Mcdowell - not much here you can say thats great

 

NW4A

1. Watagua - Nicest field. Great concession stand - the concession workers have a view of the field so they not only can work, BUT THEY CAN SEE THE GAME at the same time!!! Radio announcing durin the game - can't beat that! Indoor batting facility.

2. AC Reynolds - Nice, deep field that improves every year, good seating, good concessions food - hot, grilled hamburgers (and sometimes hot dogs), good music

3. South Caldwell - Great program and biggest fan support base, sound system OK, field OK - seating not the best.

4. Alexander Central - Lots of fan support, good seating, nice field - I agree - hard to go play at.

5. Freedom - Great announcer, excellent popcorn, seating not so hot, nice scoreboard.

6. Mcdowell - they usually have a spread of food for the opposing team - good announcing but speaker system needs work

7. East Burke - great football stadium, but the baseball amenities definitely lack.

 

Watauga--one of the better fields in the state, needs more seating but thats probably the only partial negative I can think of. great and loyal fans, GREAT concession stand and clubhouse, food is great (burgers, hot dogs, pizza, etc..) sound system is one of the best, great atmosphere and place to play.

AC Reynolds--great smoothe field, excellent seating, good concession stand, good music...

South Caldwell--good field that has begun to improve, concession stand within a miles walking distance from the seating, the seating could improve, good music...great team that plays there, tough tough place to play. good system.

Alexander Central--from a players perspective, the worst music in the conference..not the greatest sound system, alright field...tough, tough fans...they'll get on ya
