Doubt he'll be offered the Patton job. If he was a contender for that position, why would he quit on his current team in mid season? Not clear what happened. Patriots lost to West Caldwell in a game they should have won, played tough in road loss @ Davie, lost Wilkes Central in a game they should have won. Beat Chase. Got mercy ruled at home against Enka and Watauga. Quit the next day.
Had 11 players on the varsity. 5 freshmen, 1 soph, 2 seniors and a jr starting. 2 jr reserves.

 

Too Many Freshmen. Five too many in my opinion.
