Post all info here. Try to be as specific as you can...from temperatures to scores.

    The official forecast

from Ray's Weather Center: "The Watauga County-West Charlotte NC Western Division Football Championship game in Boone this evening (7:30 PM) looks dry but cold with temperatures near 30 (upper 20s by game's end); winds will be gusty from the NW 20-30 mph. You'll need the coats and blankets!"

It's dry now, but it rained buckets overnight. I imagine the wind and partly sunny skies this afternoon dried the field out some, but I expect it to be a slow track.

    Hmmm

I'm losing the online feed pretty frequently, but hitting play picks it right back up; a little annoying, but nice if you're looking to multitask or you live outta range.

    WC @ WHS

    0-0 after one

Two fumbled snaps cripple promising WHS drives. Mitchell Harris showing up in the WC backfield and making plays for the Watauga D.

    Score update

    WC 7
    WHS 0

45-yard fleaflicker, apparently Long for WC wrestled jump ball away from Breitenstein in the end zone. Appears Coach Snow may have drawn a flag protesting the ruling of a completed pass.

    WHS driving

WHS down to the 25, driving again, can they answer? Breitenstein returned the ensuing kick off after the WC score to midfield.

Watauga seems to be trying to diversify the offense with the QB running it more than usual--not working too well, but EB is getting his share of yards.

Now WHS inside the 15 after 10-yard EB run.
