Courage is FEAR, that said it's PRAYERS.
Actually ACR was giving up 29.1 yards rushing per game coming into this matchup, and after this game it will go up to 33.3 yards per game as our defense gave up 58 yards on 31 carries. What the score also doesn't reflect is ACR getting down inside the 1 yard line TWICE and not scoring which could have made it 42-10.

    yeah

yaeh that was what i was meaning by our defense playing pretty well.. our offense just put our defense in a few too many situations that they couldnt bail out of... from what i understand we put up the best game that anyones put up against them so far.

Defensively that was probably the best team we have played.

    D is great

yeah our defense is stout... offense some reason always has problems with turnovers.. the shotgun kills us.. i know the boys can do it its just a matter of buckling down and doing the things they need to do the whole game to not let teams like yall and other great teams we will play in the playoffs take the small mistakes we've got by with against mediocre teams and become blaring reasons that we lose. But thanks for the compliment and yall were definitely our biggest test all year as well.. yall have already played east burke we have them next week.. how u think having played both us.. how ya think we'll fair and what may they hurt us on.

Bizzare game at West Iredell last night vs. Mooresville. West won 34-32 in 2 over times. In the first ot, with the score tied 28-28, West lined up for a 24 yard FG. Mooresville blocked the kick and returned it 75 yards for a touchdown. Mooresville fans went wild. But wait, then the referee blowed the whistle and said the ball could not be advanced in this situation. West Iredell won in the 2nd OT. I am a big warrior fan, but not so sure the refs got this one right. Sorry Blue Devil fans.

Warrior Pride, seems as there will be some rule book reading today. Hope it was the correct call by the official, and I think it may have been.

Jordan Robinson set the single game passing record in this one going for 350 yrds in the first half and one series in the 2nd. Bruce Smith also had a big night gaing around 200 yrds rec. Robinson hit 6 different receivers on the night and had TD passes to Mario Washington, Stanley Humphries, Zac Page, and Smith. Jordan was 14 of 17 and also had a TD run.

Crest ended the night with 515 yrds of offense and set a new school passing record in a game with 392 yrds as back-up Zack Halbert got into the game and had 42 passing yrds himself.

Also have to give a shout to the Crest O-line. The big hawgs are getting it done so far. T Wesley Nodine 6-0 275 lb SR, T Kyle Tolley 6-0 310 lb SR, G Chris Goins 6-2 295 lb JR, G Phillip Auguste 6-0 290 lb JR, C Todd Blanton 6-4 295 lb JR. Keep opening the holes and protecting that QB boys.

Also congrats to the Crest D. How do you replace the guys that they did? With a team mentality. Very fitting that last night they were named the defensive player of the game as a unit on the Crest broadcast. So far through 6 games the D has given up 54 points, and are pinning the ears back and getting after it

Don't forget that you can check out the Crest games on your computer each Friday night at www.teamline.cc. You can also hear the games toll free at 1-800-846-4700 teamcode 8737.

The Chargers turn to Country Day and I have no doubt remember the 30 point thrashing they gave them last year. This is my first trip to Country Day so I'm looking forward to it. I know they have a great football team, but can I get a white wine spritzer at the concession stand during the game.
