A lot of teams starting up conference play in the JV ranks. Post your scores as you get them...

Ragsdale's first loss of the season now 4-1. Two years in a row Ragsdale lost to SE in a close game. SE has some serious speed in the backfield. Can't believe some of them aren't playing varsity.

Took 2 1/2 hours to play a JV game. I've saw more passing tonight than I've seen in a few years. I'll get some detailed stats online later.

Courage is FEAR, that said it's PRAYERS.
    AC Reynolds 26
    East Burke 13

The Rockets score twice in the last 2:18 to steal a win. Trailing 13-12 with 2:27 to go in the fourth, the Rockets had the ball at the East Burke 40 facing 4th and 12, and scored on a 40 yard pass to take a 18-13 lead.

Sorry for the delay in the stats...It was quite a crazy game. The Cougars run a spread type offense and they throw the ball pretty well. Alexander was up 20-8 at the half and scored a quick touchdown to start the 2nd half to go up 26-8. McDowell did make a late run scoring 14 unanswered points including a 59 yard touchdown pass to Nico Swepson on the final play of the game but it wasn't enough. Even though McDowell had trouble running the ball, we threw on them with some success and some of the Titan receivers made some nice plays including Chavis Hamilton's only catch, a 14 yard catch for a touchdown where Hamilton had to make a diving catch in the left corner of the end-zone.

    Cougar Offensive Stats:

Taylor Miller: 8-16. 168 yds, TD, 2 INT
Kori Kinnaird: 5 rec, 106 yds, TD
Kyle Bradshaw: 11 carries, 61 yds, TD
Josh Monteith: 12 carries, 101 yds, TD

    Titan Offensive Stats:

    Patrick Martin: 7-18, 225, 3 TD, 2 INT
Patrick Hill: 20 carries, 64 yds
Brent Rowe: 3 rec, 90 yds, TD
Barry Carpenter: 2 rec, 62 yds

    Titans are now 1-3 (0-1 NW4A)
