    Ktown

When ktown loses they aren't well coached, but when they win, it's "Great job coaching staff." The coaching staff does a pretty good job with those kids win or lose. Good luck in the 4th round.:woot:

Thanks...Eagles.Just about eveyone on the Kannapolis team moves on after this year. This is a very senior oriented team.Next year will be a complete rebuilding year for the Kannapolis legion team. It's this year or bust.

Good luck to the kids at Kernersville. They seem to have good teams there year after year.

    Yank

I am a former coach in the area and yeah I am a baseball fan. I don't have anything to do with K'town legion, but I do know the people involved to an extent. I follow Concord as well even they had a tough season, but I just enjoy baseball, and I have been on the coaching side so I know how it is to have eyes on every move you make. What do you think about Ktown's chances yank??

    Area III FINALS

Well maybe I jumped too fast on my comment last night about Kannapolis having homefield in the Area finals regardless of the Randolph/Stanly outcome. Someone apparently gave me some bad information that Kannapolis would have homefield throughout the playoffs because of our better W/L record than Randolph's, but I was just informed that if Randolph County beats Stanly, they will look at runs allowed in determining the homefield advantage because both Kannapolis and Randolph are both #1 seeds. I honestly don't know how they'll do that since we have 11 teams thus we played 20 reg.season games vs. Randolph only has 9 teams and played only 16 reg.season games. Maybe we should get to pick the 16 games we want counted.... ha

Anyway, a final decision is expected soon.

Btw, of course Ktown obviously has homefield should Stanly beat out Randolph because Stanly finished #2 behind Ktown.

Will post more as soon as I find out...

    Thanks Bottom9

It's good to hear from folks who have "walked the walk" in coaching and understand how difficult it is the be all things to all people. K-Town is fortunate to have such a talented coaching staff that is concerned more about their players rather than pleasing the fans and parents. After all, it is the players time to shine!
