Great Attendance

It was terrific to see over 3,000 people show up for last night's UNC-Charlotte game. It makes one wonder how many would attend if a 4-team tournament involving Charlotte, Winthrop, South Carolina, and North Carolina were put together in Charlotte over a February weekend.

While I'm at it, I'd like to congratulate Charlotte-native Reid Fronk for having been selected as this week's Atlantic Coast Conference Player-of-the-Week.
He had quite a weekend down in Miami.

 

Prep- I had more fun at this game, then I have had in awhile. It was a great environment and for half a game, it was thrilling. I found myself cheering for players on both sides.

It was almost like an alumni game in that there were so many people that I haven't seen in some time. Of course, some of them were dodging me as well (like Prepster)...but that didn't stop me from hitting them up for a hot dog (well, actually it did. I couldn't walk allllllll the way to the concession stand)

If I had only one wish...I would wish that UNCC would come up with some kind of tram system to haul all those big folks to the game and back to their cars...geez, I had to park in Harrisburg!

It was pure FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and my BABY BLUE won

 

Oh...and do not hold this series in February. It must be a clear, warm day in April that brings out the shorts, dresses and tans...not that I was looking

 

Not "dodging," Braves! Actually, looked for you; but, it was a big crowd. You must've been taking in the "scenery" while I was taking in the game!
