    great for nick. congrats and keep up th good work. is he playing short or is he in the outfield??

    Nick has been splitting his time between left field and third base. He has some tough competition in the infield with Joey Robinson, Ben Billingsley, Wes Borden, and Isaac Harrow so he's happy to be getting playing time at any position!

    Nick's doing great,,,,, in fact watching this entire freshman class for ASU the next few years is going to be fun. Kinda surprised Garrett Sherrill wasn't mentioned in the pitching category, he just pitched ASU's first shutout in years and he's now 3-0 on the mound with an ERA of a buck and some change...

    No doubt Garrett deserves recognition for his complete game shutout performance against Canisius. That was a great effort.

    I suspect each team can only nominate one person for the Pitcher of the Week award and so maybe they chose Josh Fish since he figured into three decisions (1 win and 2 saves). It was nice to see Josh have some good outings against Canisius after a couple of bumpy outings the previous week.
