West Rowan star half back Wade Moore will reach 3,000 career yards if he has another 100+ yard game against Lake Norman. I'd say the odds are in his favor. Any thoughts on how many he will have? he racked up +280 against Salisbury, an undefeated team who was SUPPOSEDLY going to handle West. Im gonna say Wade Moore: 150 yards rushing and 50 yards receiving.

Hows that compare to running backs like Nick Maddox , T.A. McLendon, or Tony Baker ?

I think Maddox "national high school player of the year his senior year" rushed for well over 5000 yards... and McLendon might have even had a high school rushing record for most career yards ...not exactly sure ...

i would imagine 3000 yards is pretty common for a feature running back in high school ..
WR schedule and the NPC being weakened by the realignment will help him get alot of yardage...

Well, I never compared him to any of those guys, nor did I say he was the best back around. Toney Baker rushed for 10,241 yards in His career and is second in all time record books. T.A. rushed for 9,006 while Nick Maddox rushed for 6,624. Those are all impressive stats, but in Rowan county the all time record is just above 3,000 held by West Rowan's Joe Jackson. Wade should surpass that easily by this season.

3000 career yards is a very good acheivement for a high school back.

It's why a 10,000+ career or 3,000 + season by a back like Baker or Andre Brown is phenomenal.

Wade Moore has now rushed for over 3,000 career yards, and over 1,000 for the season. Incredible since he has only been starting varsity for 2 yrs now.
