Copperhead Fall Invitational

    The Copperheads hosted a showcase this past weekend at Pfeiffer, Catawba and North Stanly High School. The tournament had 16 teams with two different age groups. It ran well and the Copperheads 18's won the 18 yr old Championship while the On Deck 07's won the 17 yr old Championship. Thanks for all of those who came out to the field for this tournament. The Copperheads plan on hosting another tournament in October to be held at Davidson College, Hopewell and North Meck.

    My son plays for the Anglers, who played against the Copperheads in the championship game. The Copperheads has a very good team, a good hitting team. He has played against several of their players over the years. Congratulations to a well deserving team.

    The Anglers has two teams in the tournament, the '06's and the '07's. Which roster do you want, both teams?
