    Mocksville

    Mocksville's junior legion has promise. They are young, but can compete with the best of them.

    They are 2-0 right now, with wins over Cherryville and Southern Alamance.

    This year Mocksville will be lead by sophmores Zach Howard, Heath Boyd, Tom Kuell, Justin Thompson, and Josh Eder. All go to Davie.

    Cary won the junior legion state championship in 2002 and 2004.

    I watched a very good Apex Junior Legion team last night defeat a potentially very good Roxboro Junior Legion team. Apex seemed fundamentally sound and Roxboro could have a good season if their pitching holds up. Last night Roxboro's pitching did not hold up very well.
