    North Lenoir takes a 1-0 lead in the 2A Final with a 3-1 win over Owen.

    Hi all,
    LakeNormanFan here (disguised as NPC Fanatic).
    The Trojans kind of fell apart in the 3rd inning tonight, they mostly allowed infield hits and Blake Ketner uncharacteristically walked a few (the umps strike zone was the smallest I've seen...and moving too....not always for both sides). The Trojans also outhit the Patriots 10-8 but made 2 errors.

    Hats off to SA, the best team (tonight) won but the Trojans just didn't play their best ball tonight. Great comeback by pitcher Brent Haynes after allowing 2 runs in the 1st. Jerrod Faggart had 2 RBIs for NWC.

    The Trojans again have their work cut out for them tomorrow.

    NEXT: Game 2 Saturday @ 2pm
