I just read in the paper today that SWE lost to North Lenoir yesterday, and to South Lenoir before that. That conference(Eastern Plains) only gets two spots, so it could get interesting. If you guys win out in the Northern Carolina, you get the Northeastern Coastal #2 which will probably be Edenton Holmes, or Manteo. The earliest that you would see the EP team would be 3rd round. If you were to finish 2nd, you could see the EP #2 in the 2nd round. Sounds like Jeff & Pratt are making as big a contribution as any freshmen in the state. Hard work pays off. Good luck the rest of the way.
I got your message too late the other day. We may try to go this weekend to one ,or two of the Duke games. I'll let you know. Q.

Thanks for the information Q. As the season gets shorter we will be going down there to see some teams. I know that North Pitt North Lenoir and SWE are going to battle it out. I am keeping my eye on the situation with Edentons conference. I dont think we will get challenged in conference to be honest with you it is down this year. We always play a tough non conference schedule to prepare us and more than ever we needed it this year. I knew that Pratt was going to be a good one I just didnt expect him to be this good so soon for us. His controll has been outstanding so far. Its hard to believe that a 15 yr old Freshman is in the mid 80's bumping 86-87 at times with that kind of controll. He is flat out hitting as well. Jeff has done an outstanding job for us behind the plate. He has shut down the running game against us throwing out 4 or 6 base stealing attempts this year. We have played 16 games and only 6 attempts and 4 cs. I quite honestly just like Pratt new he would be good for us but I have been pleasantly surprised at how good. He is really tearing it up at the plate after getting off to a slow start. He hit another HR tonight. There is no doubt all the hard work in the off season has really elevated both of these young guys games. Let me know if you guys come down this weekend we will go to a game or two with you. Talk to you soon.
