Looking at the NOAA maps, it appears that the major rain is passing south of the state. The possibility exists for getting these tournaments finished today, unless the wind shifts and pushes the moisture due north.

NC, You can do it all, man. Now we get to see your skills as a meteorologist. Either you're really smart or you stay at Holiday Inn Express a lot. :smoke2:

Looking better in the western half of the state ... the East is looking bad.

Here's the latest update ... Shelby could be a go tonight ... they may receive some rain in the middle of the night. Kannapolis looks good for tonight.

    Shelby CXL'D Friday

Shelby field hasn't dried out. Championship tentatively sched for 1PM Saturday. Any more moisture will likely wash that one out also.

In addition, CCS has a scheduled home game vs Richmond Sr @ 7PM.

If we do, then I'm going down to use the Pond (I mean OF) at Butler.

I spilled my coke there in February and it flooded the field to a depth of 4 inches. It should be perfect for stripers about now.
