    The tournament was great, the field was great and the food was pretty good also!!! I think I can speak for our parents and say THANK YOU TO ALL involved that it was fun and we had a good time!!! :invasion:
    Congratulations to Rocky Mount!!! My son has played against several of those young men in the fall seasons and they have a fine team!! Good luck in your season!!

    Dont forget South Granville! Rocky Mount beat us 4-2 in a very good ball game. Rocky Mount went 3-0 Person went 2-1 and South Granville went 2-1. I really enjoyed the tournement and meeting alot of nice folks from Rocky Mount and getting to see old baseball friends. I was very impressed with the field and the way the event was run. I wanted to watch some games but had to get the boys back home after we played. I really wanted to see Southern1's son Jim pitch. He is really going to be a good one thats for sure. Heck he already is. I know alot of the Person boys because we have played them every year since I can remember. They are always very respectfull and always say Hey Coach May and yes sir no sir. The Rocky Mount players were the same way. Very respectfull and a joy to be around. Good luck to the Rockets this year I really feel that they are going to battle Chapel Hill for the top spot hands down. Good luck to Rocky Mount they are in a heck of a conference but if things fall just right they might just make some noise. We are 2-0 in the conf so far and I feel we have a great shot at taking the title. If our bats come around like they should we could have a special year with the quality of the pitching we have.
