Central Cabarrus defeated Riverside 8-0, two time State Champs Indian Land 3-0, and powerhouse Spring Valley 3-0. Gina Allen was sparkling as usually with 45 strikeouts in 20 innings and only allowed 5 hits. Central has now outscored five 2004 playoff opponents 26-1. 1 through 9 Central swings the sticks, has a shutdown defense when the ball is hit and has a pitcher that throws the rise, change-up and drop to the max.
Central is 6-0 overall and ranked NO#7 according to USA Today.

Kudos to Central! They have some great players and excellent young ladies. I am sure we will see many of these girls playing college ball in the future. Stephanie will be a Catamount! Go girl my old school as the song says! :woot:

    MAULDIN 1 ND 0
    FT. MILL 0 ND 3
    W.KNOLL 2 ND 5

After losing the first game the Knights settled in to playing some great ball. These games should prepare them for upcoming Conference play.
