 The Vikings will have a home scrimmage tomorrow 2/23/05 @4PM, and because of severe CRS I dont remember who they are scrimmaging? But for you diehards who have been itching to see some live action, North Meck is the place tomorrow. It might be the only baseball for the rest of the week if the weather forecasters are correct.

11 innings... North's pitchers looked good. Forest View struggled a bit in the field. No real score kept so no one knows the final. North did hold Forest View down scoreless until the 8th inning. Forest View does look young this year.

Good clean solid game for North.

    Deep in Pitching

I stayed at the North Meck game for 7 innings until the umps left and I was impressed by the depth of the pitching for North. McAuley, Rosenbaum, Porter, Pierce, and Allen.(if i missed anyone, i apologize). :xyzthumbs I agree Forestview looked young and overmatched, but with pitching like that, a lot of teams will. The hitting for North was sporatic, but at this time of year that is not unusual. The defense looks very solid. As usual, Cavasini was the catylist getting the first run on the board for North.
