    We have not had a player from NC since Josh Hamilton to grab the attention nationwide like Maybin. He not only is an outstanding talent I understand that he is a great young man as well. Congrats to him his team and coaches.

    Maybin is gettin all the accolades he deserves. I have watched him play for 3 years now and what a talent. I don't know him personally but know several who do, and he has as much respect in the local baseball community as a 1st class young man as a baseball player. Wish him all the best.

    I wonder if the Devil Rays will get him. Seems like they get the "Best from NC" when there is a guy of this caliber. (Wilder, Hamilton, now Maybin)

    I'm sure the Devil Rays would love to have him, but they don't pick until the 8th spot and he will probably be gone by then.

    The Braves, Orioles, Brewers, Mets and Devil Rays were at the scrimmage at East Rutherford this past Saturday. There will be several more at McDowell tomorrow if the game isn't cancelled because of weather.

    Here's the order of the top ten picks.
    1. Diamondbacks
    2. Royals
    3. Mariners
    4. Nationals
    5. Brewers
    6. Blue Jays
    7. Rockies
    8. Devil Rays

    Fox Sports Feature

    Cameron is flying down to the Reds spring training complex in Sarasota tomorrow to film a segment with Ken Griffey Jr. for Fox Sports. They are supposedly comparing Cameron to Griffey when he came out of high school.

    A pretty awesome comparison!
