Watching Countdown to Signing Day's All South teams and saw that Massaqoui got All 2nd team even though he is one of the best high school receivers ever in the entire country being Leak's #1 go to guy and scoring more touchdowns than any receiver in the nation and he is put on the second team, and Joe Cox isn't even on the 1st or 2nd team (didn't see if he was on the third or not) and there is no way you can say anyone in the south had a better season than he did. They put the guy from Waynesville ahead of him for god sakes and he didn't even throw for 2,000 yards and the guy who was first team had 1,000 less passing yards, and 30 less touchdowns. Doesn't look like Indy will ever get any respect. Can't wait to see Cox and Massaquoi down here in Athens next year. I've been talking them up a lot to everyone so they better not let me down!

That's interesting....Cox on one hand is not somebody that makes you stand up and take notice (although his numbers do). I can understand when detractors say he is slow and not particularly big.....but...what the kid brings to the table is this. He is extremely smart, has great touch and sees the whole field. I recall people saying the same thing about Montana.

Massaqoui, on the other hand, what is there not to like...great hands, great size and good speed. Another thing that is amazing is the 4 years at Independence on the varsity and the 2 years at Middle school...he never lost a game. The kid has no concept what it is like to play on a team that lost a game....not many can say that

Neither one looked particularly good in the Shrine Bowl. And as far as Cox, I have no respect for someone who is afraid to compete for a job at the next level.

I'm not sure what the deal was at Duke...but it's hard to believe he won't have more competition at Georgia. I know he is a great kid!!!...and a great teammate, but to me a commitment is a commitment.

Blake Barnes was ranked as a top 20 QB coming out of high school and he redshirted this year. Shockley will play out his senior year and then after that it's all up for grabs. If I were Cox I would redshirt. He won't play anyways and he'll waste a year of eligibility when he could be putting some muscles on his thin frame in the weight room

Duke is bringing in Gene Delle Donne and Zack Asack, both of whom were ranked higher than Cox. Then there is Greg Paulus also who may decide to play football in the future.

Cox is the 12th ranked QB from this class. Dell Donne is #37 and Asack is out of the Top 50.
