You may recall that you played the Triangle Thunder this year at the state AAU tourney at Mt. Pleasant HS. Do you remember who the kid was you pitched against us? He threw really well. Did you have the Cavasinni kid at the time, and is he related to the boy who signed with UNC? Also, great job on the two double steals you executed against us in that game. If I remember correctly, it was the difference maker.

 

AAU Game

Yes, I remember that game and your team, a very competitive one. We threw Adam Waters, an 08 Hopewell grad that I mentioned in the 07-08 thread. As I recall, we played on a terribly wet field and the score was 2-2 until a long tie-breaking double in the 7th. The kid for your team pitched very well also.
Joey Cavasinni played for me in 2003, but did not play travel baseball this past year as far as I know. He wanted to concentrate on basketball. I do however think he played school ball and will this year at North Meck. Yes he is the brother of the UNC bound Cavasinni. He has blazing speed just like his brother and should be an excellent player in high school.
