Softball: App State

    App State seems to be playing very well at this point. They have played some very good teams and have been in every game. This program could be turning the corner. APP was picked 8th in their league this year, but may be able to finish much better than that if they continue to improve.

    is the softball field still up above the football stadium, or have they moved it like they did with baseball? I swear the baseball field is almost in Tennessee! Way back when I was in school there, the baseball field was right down on campus. Now students will have to hire a Sherpa to guide then to the park. I guess that's progress...

    I had the chance to watch them play against Virginia Tech and Coastal Carolina on Saturday. App looked really good in both games. Lost a heart breaker to VT in extra innings and won a great game against CCU Saturday night.

    VT looks to be in a rebuilding stage. Very young but no where near the talent they had last year.
