    Tanner seems dedicated to the Cocks. Don't see him leaving. Didn't he turn down about half a mil at Texas A&M this year?

    Nah...he has a lifetime job down there. As a former Gamecock and the fact that I grew up in Columbia, I know how the politics work when it comes to spending money. I was referring to the fact that I hope they build the new stadium before Tanner leaves (like retirement)

    Unfortunately, I think its name has been forgotten, as with many other Columbia landmarks lost as Sherman moved through...

    I'm glad you guys are having fun :(

    I just so happened to play for the Home School Fighting Penguins. They recently had to change their nickname because of the PC police. They are now called the "Biting Red Ants"

    and yes, Sherman did roll through Columbia, but we got the best of him. He may have burned the city and shelled the State Capitol, but we never gave up what he really wanted
