    I played for Weatherspoon on the Cary Bulls and then the NC DiamondDawgs. He was the Red Sox Scout team the year after I played for the DiamondDawgs.


    Sounds like a heck of a team.

    I miss Lew (Coach44). He was a great contributor to our board. After the Red Sox terrific run at Jupiter last year, he told me he was going to help out the Campbell baseball program. I wish he would comeback and fill us in on what he has been doing. Man...talking about an "old school" coach, Lew Weatherspoon was born to coach baseball.

    Heck yeah he was. Coach Weatherspoon probably was my best coach I have ever had, no offense to any of you ;). But Coach44 was great. I haven't talked to him in awhile but I hope all is going well with him. He is truely a great guy and a great baseball coach.


    I am sure that Coach W will get back into coaching soon. Baseball misses him too much. :applause:
