    Crest is moving from 3A back to 4A.

    They're going to be in the split 3A/4A Conference with Gason County schools, right?

    Yes, Crest, East Gaston, and Ashbrook will be 4A while the rest will be 3A.

    Gonna be an even tougher Conference with y'all added. With probably Crest, South Point and Ashbrook leading the way, in that order, most years.

    2A: West Caldwell, Hibriten, Maiden, Bandys, Bunker Hill, Newton-Conover
    3A: Hickory, St. Stephens, Fred T. Foard

    2A: Madison, Mitchell, Mountain Heritage, Owen

    You know the Polk and Hendersonville people are gonna love that drive to Mitchell and Avery Counties.
