    After what appeared to be a little of a slow start Post 100 has came alive with back to back 10 run victories and they also defeated Caldwell county on Friday night. Looks like the summer programs are heating up along with the weather.

    Cherryville Post 100 is scheduled to play Hickory tonight at Hickory. Game time is 7 p.m.

    Cherryville defeated Hickory last night 06/10 by a score of 12 to 10 in 11 innings. Cherryville was lead by Jonathan Carpenter with 5 hits and two solo home runs. Post 100 got some great pitching out of Goins after the starter only got one out in the 1st before being pulled.

    Tonight Post 100 plays a double header in Cherryville. Game time is 6 tonight.

    Cherryville hosted Asheville last night and split a double header. In game one Post 100 won 10-5. In game two Asheville won 3-1.

    On 6/13/2014 Cherryville lost to the Gaston Braves 6-5 if i remember correctly. Post 100 left 16 runner on base!!!! Tough to win any games that way. I give lots of credit to the Braves outfielders who made some great catches to keep the game in there favor in critical times.

    Post 100 knocked off Randolph County by a score of 8-7 and won it in the bottom of the 9th with a walk off sac fly! I know not near as thrilling as a walk off HR but we will take it.

    Post 100 plays tonight at home at 7 p.m . I think its the Ohio team.

    Last night in Cherryville Ohio beat the Post 100 team by a score of 15 to 5. Game was stopped in 7 innings. Not too pretty for Post 100. They play today at Shelby at 4:30. Wilmington maybe? They come back to Cherryville on Thursday night at 7

    Defeated Kings Mountain on Thursday night of last week by scoring in the 9th inning to take the win. Over the weekend on Saturday night they went to Caldwell and took it on the chin 14-2! Back in action tonight up at Burke County at 7.

    Post 100 knocked off Burke county last night 14-4 I think was the final.
