    Big night in Jamestown

From what I've heard dudley is just about the same team they were last year and Ragsdale is pretty much the same team they were last year, so I've been excited to see this game since before the season started. Rumor has is that dudley's starting qb missed the preseason scrimmage and first game of the year due to illness so it'll be interesting to see if he plays friday night.
I know the Ragsdale guys want their revenge so it's gonna be a battle on both sides.

Always a big rivalry game! South hasn't won many in the long history of the series, but talk is that this could be one of those years.

It will be K-town's youth vs. South's experience. South also has several 3 year starters on their team. Kannapolis also lost their starting QB on the third offensive play of the Statesville game. He will not play in the South game.

Can the young but talented youth of K-town overcome all that experience of South Rowan? Stay Tuned!!!

    Kannapolis/South Rowan Advanced Tickets

Tickets will be sold Friday from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the school.
    Tickets are $6.00 each.

No matter how inexperienced K-Town is, it's tough to go against them.

another one from up this way is NW Cabarrus @ W. Rowan. WR is the defending 3A State Champ and hs many returning players, including D1 prosppeect, RB Kevin Parks. NWC touts D1 prospect Jeremy Cannon at QB. Canon led NWC to the 3AA Western Regional finals two season ago, but they lost at Charlotte Catholic. Cannon sat out last season with a knee injury but looked stellar in a 35-14 win over Mooreville last Friday. WR won big at Central Cabarrus last Friday, leading 54-0 when the game was halted due to lightning with about 10 minutes to go.

and just up hwy. 801 in Mocksville, Davie Co. will host Greensboro Page in a 4A battle. Davie lost to Alexander Central last Friday, 3-0, a result that sent most War Eagle fans to the liquor store the next morning. Page lost a heartbreaker to Davie last season and is friggin' loaded this year. better tell Aunt Edna to bring a few more heart pills to the game........just in case you need one for yourself.

NWC's QB Jeremy Cannon is the key for the Trojans against West Rowan.

He can make something out of nothing and that's what he might have to do against a very talented West squad. He's a very versatile athlete!

NWC has a chance with him at QB, be it a slim one.

It should be a very good first game to see.
If you do decide to go I would advise getting there early.
It's not a playoff game between 2 undefeated teams like last time that brought a crowd of 4000 out, but I can still imagine that its gonna be a full house at ragsdale friday night.

The Mt Airy at Thomasville game looks like a good one. Mt Airy killed everybody in 2008 and Thomasville is Thomasville. East Lincoln at Newton Conover is a good one too. East Lincoln beat them early in the 2008 season before the Red Devils got rolling on the way to a state title.
