Is it illegal to slap your glove, and cause a runner to slide into a bag when the ball is not coming to you ??

Yes, it is illegal...so much so that it comes with an ejection.

Could you be more clear what you mean by "slap your glove?" Just make a loud noise by hitting your glove? Or do you mean, pretend to make a tag with an empty glove?

My answer assumed you were talking about a fake tag. Slapping one's glove alone doesn't seem to fit the fake tag scenario, so I could be wrong. Howver, any attempt to make a runner slide where there is no play on them seems, at the very least, unsportsmanlike.
