    I talked with Ryan last night and he is really excited about being back in NC where he can see more of his family and old friends....(Dad is more excited about him being closer to home)

    How was it

    Dbacks how did Ryan do in his first start of the year? I heard Kyle Shelton, Federoff etc were also playing. details?

    Ryan actually pitched pretty well for his first outing....he was a little unlucky with some plays in the field. He went 4 innings walking 1 with 4 strike outs, 4 hits, giving up 4 runs with 1 earned run....but hey, that's baseball.

    He should have gotten out of the 2nd with no runs scored....had a missed played ball with 2 outs in centerfield and had a error at short in the same inning which ended up resulting in a 4 run second.

    Tim struggled a little at the plate during the series with Winston Salem and had a rough night last night....he did walk and score a run last night.

    Kyle had a good series against Kinston, I would have to go back and check all the box scores but I think he hit about .500 with a couple of RBI during the series.

    Kinston looks like they will have a pretty potent line up and have a very solid pitching staff.

    If anyone is interested in going to the game, Ryan's next start is in Kinston this Saturday against Winston Salem with a 7:00 start time.

    Should see also see Kyle Shelton in the Winston Salem line up during the 3 game series.

    Ryan had another pretty good start Saturday night but did not figure in the decision:
    IP - 5.0
    H - 4
    R - 3
    ER - 2
    BB - 3
    SO - 1

    Lonnie Chisenhall went 1 for 5
    Tim Fedroff went 0 for 5

    Kyle Shelton (Winston Salem Dash) went 1 for 3 with a walk.

    Rhino will be back on the mound tonite in Kinston against Lynchburg with a 7:00 start. Hopefully he can get that 1st Carolina League win tonite.

    The Tribe took 2 out of 3 from Myrtle Beach earlier this week on the road.:champagne:
