JUST FOR MY OWN CURIOSTY, HAS ANYONE ELSE HEARD THAT “THE 2008 B WORLD SERIES 12/U CHAMPION” HAS BEEN DECLARED INELIGABLE …HAVING SEVERAL GIRLS AGED OUT AND RINGERS. IF THIS HAPPENS TO BE TRUE, SHOULD NOT THE PARTICIPATING TEAMS HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW, ESPECIALLY THE ONES THAT WAS DIRECTLY AFFECTED? AFTER HEARING ABOUT THIS INCIDENT LAST NIGHT (COMING FROM RELIABLE SOURCE) I PONDERED AWHILE THINKING ABOUT IT…SHOULD WE NOT HAVE BEEN CONTACTED OR SOMETHING POSTED? IS THIS AN ACCEPTABLE ACT? I GUESS WITH A LITTLE SLAP ON THE HAND AND A QUICK SWEEP UNDER THE RUG SHOULD DO IT! HOW DOES THE “NSA” HANDLE A SITUATION LIKE THIS? WELL, I GUESS A GOOD COPOUT WOULD BE CO-CHAMPIONS. MY OPINION IS THAT THE TEAM SHOULD BE STRIPPED OF EVERYTHING-IT ONLY FAIR. THE COACHES KNEWOF THE SITUATION AND NEED TO UNDERSTAND…12/UNDER MEANS JUST THAT- NOT 14/U.
YOU KNOW WE TEACH OUR PLAYERS “THEY HAVE TO EARN WHAT THEY GET THROUGH HARD WORK” AND THEN YOU WILL GAIN THE RESPECT AND SKILLS THAT FOLLOWS. LOWERING STANDARD JUST FOR SELF GRADIFACATION DOES NOT BENEFIT THE GIRLS. YOU HAVE TO REALLY ASK YOURSELF “IS THIS WORTH A $4.00 TROPHY, A PLAQUE, AND A YEARS WORTH OF BRAGGING RIGHTS”? ONCE AGAIN, YOU MUST EARN RESPECT!

I have no idea if it's true or not, but apparently you have heard this. Although you don't know that it is true. Before I would condemn them --"I’VE LOST ALL RESPECT FOR THE COACHES AND THE TEAM ATHAND AND ALSO FOR THE PARTICULAR SANCTION BY HANDLING THIS SITUATION THE WAY THEY DID. WE’RE NOT ASKING FOR FINANCIAL REINBURSTMENT- ALL WE’RE ASKING IS FOR YOU GUYS TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE!-- I would make 100% certain it is true. Otherwise you owe someone a big apology.

I don't doubt your source, but you asked for others to confirm what you heard. All I'm saying is find out it is a fact before using TBR to condemn a team, their coaches and the organization. Let's be fair. You may turn out to be right......but if you are wrong.........

Braves has a point. What you need to do is contact Howard Edwards, He is the NSA Charlotte guy. and can be found on the NCNSA site. Please try to do this before you post such innuendos on here. . we at TBR tey to be factual and not just sling snot based on what "reliable sources" told us.
If its true it needs to be brought up but please confirm first

I understand your frustration...I really do. I hope you find out this is not the case, but if it is, feel free to post your thoughts.

I believe your initial question, "Did anyone hear..." is fair. But let's find out if it is true before we voice our opinion directed at a particular team, coach or organization.

I can not tell you how many times things similar have been posted and you find out later there are only elements of truth, but never the full story.

 

Yes

I do think Howard will tell the truth. I have known him as long, maybe longer then most, and even thought we have disagreed at times, I have always found him to be truthful and forthcoming, hell he has even admitted when he made a mistake. What reason could you have for thinking he would not? But it may be one of those situations where no one is allowed to talk about it if it has legal ramifications.
I e-mailed Howard and invited him to post the information n TBR.
