He really is trying hard
Yes, he could afford to lose some weight
But he’s not a tub ‘o lard

He tries very hard to get it right
Although some of you won’t agree
Some of you challenge him to a fight

He calls balls & strikes as he see’s fit
But he’s consistent throughout the game
Other’s yell at him and throw expletives
But caution….don’t call him by name

Some of them have funny names
Honestly, some of them are catchy
But there is one I know who gets very upset
When he blows a call and yell ***** Stretchy

So keep in mind next time you watch an ump
To refrain from giving him lip
What works best of all and has worked for me
Is give them a generous tip​
