Peace College's Ashley Stansbury threw her 2nd no hitter of the season in a 3-0 win against Averett University. Peace swept the double header, which was the first conference games of the season for both squads.

Stansbury needed just 71 pitches to record the 10-K no hit gem at Wachovia Park at Peace College in Raleigh.

Peace now moves to 16-6 on the year..........2-0 in the USA South

Stansbury recorded her first no-no of the year back on March 2nd, when she shut out Keystone College of Pennsylvania in 5 innings. She recorded 11 k's in the 5 inning whitewash.

Many of you knew her Dad Mike, who coached travel softball ( Spinners / NC Challengers ) and legion baseball in Durham forever... He passed away 2 1/2 years ago, but I'm sure he's following Ashley's success....

Isn't it great when good things happen to good people.........
