    In the 2003 regional played at MSU in Starkville,Ms., UNC scored a total 4 runs(all earned) in the 8th & 9th innings vs. MSU to send the game to extra innings. UNC wound up winning 8-6 in 11 innings. The runs scored in the 8th & 9th were against Jonathon Papelbon.
