My name is Dennis McManaway and I am the Varsity Baseball Coach at Bay Shore HS Bay Shore, NY. We are located on Long Island. We travel annually into Maryland and play 2 games versus Maryland HS's prior to the start of our season. However this year the host school we generally play Columbia HS has no open dates for March 15. We generally play 2 different teams that day.

I am looking to see if you and another team in your area would be interested in playing on March 15th.

I know this: The Bay Shore area fields some of the best players in the country. They must be pretty good. I hope you can find someone to play them.

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to drop a couple of games off your schedule to teams that we discussed in that other thread....and schedule the team from NY instead.

Too bad its not during the Easter vacation. I know quite a few teams are still looking to do something

 

I see it as Wow!!! NY wanting to come down to the Carolinas. If I am not mistaken Did Babe Ruth play at an old ball field in Wilimington?

 

I'd check with Stretchy on that. I think he was there.

Sorry I am late tonight guys BUT you won't believe how hard it is to convince Land Rover to custom build me a wheelchair with a refrig, a laptop, an automated scorebook, an air horn and a nonstop pretzel making machine. Actually that part was the easiest...you should have seen the look on the salesman's face when I told him I needed BRAVES stitched onto the back of the leather chair. Tom have Platedad at your house by 6 am and we will head to UNCW to find the BABE(s)..............
