Traditionalists and Old Codgers

    Definitely a traditionlist and old codger here. I still like wooden bats, day baseball, no DH, stirrup socks, games on the radio, natural grass, twenty game winners and complete game pitchers, baseball cards with bubble gum and manual scoreboards.

    Fenway is awesome.

    I've only been to three major league stadiums - Fulton County Stadium, The new Comiskey Park and Fenway.

    Fenway blew them all away - just walking up to the Stadium, the atmosphere outside and more importantly the view of that Green Monster from the stands - I can't imagine a better baseball experience unless it was a day game at Wrigley.

    I miss all things traditional mentioned in this thread EXCEPT those dang stirrups!
